After the departure of Roy Hodgson to Liverpool, Fulham has been looking for a replacement manager and the latest name to be linked with the vacant position at the club is Switzerland national team manager Ottmar Hitzfeld.
Before taking over the helm at Switzerland, Ottmar Hitzfeld managed German giants Bayern Munich ad it is said that Fulham are keen on securing his services.
Fulham was previously linked with former England and Manchester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson but there has been a breakdown in discussions as the Swede is holding out for a higher salary.
It is now believed that Fulham will now hold talks with Hitzfeld, who has won nine league titles with Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Grasshoppers.
Another name that has been linked with Fulham is United States coach Bob Bradley.
