Sensational news are out and it has been reported that Galatasaray are interested in Fiorentina’s banned striker Adrian Mutu to Turkey.
The Romania international has been banned for nine months for failing a drugs test this week.
Mutu’s agent, Ioan Becali, will be in Istanbul next week to meet with Gala and Fenerbahce officials.
It is said that Galatasaray are willing to hand Mutu a three-year contract, while Fenerbahce also are keen and have indicated to Becali they’re prepared to help the player meet the compensation he owes to Chelsea for a previous drugs ban.
Mutu’s family, meanwhile, are unhappy with Fiorentina over the lack of assistance they offered in the player’s defence over the latest suspension.
