Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has declared that they do not plan on letting up on their current winning streak.
The Gunners have strung together eight Premier League victories in a row to be within striking distance of league leaders Chelsea and striker Giroud has no intentions of seeing that end.
“You can’t play your best football in every game. We tried to be focused on not conceding and we kept calm because they played really tough against us – it was a big fight,” he said in relation to Saturday’s 1-0 win at Burnley.
“It’s really good for us and I’m really proud to take part in this performance but we don’t want to stop here. We want to carry on and keep this good run going until the end.”
Arsenal began their streak with a 2-1 home win over Leicester City on February 10 and has since beaten the likes of Everton, West Ham United and Liverpool to sit seven points behind the Blues and one ahead of third-placed Manchester United.
