Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola is believed to be keen to hold talks with Manchester City striker Robinho before any potential deal is done.
The Brazil international winger has been closely linked with a return to Spain and it seems that a January move is increasingly likely despite the fact City boss Mark Hughes has described the talk of a move as ‘mischief-making’.
However, local Spanish newspapers have reported that Guardiola is keen to talk to Robinho in regards to an initial loan deal despite speculation the clubs met whilst on simultaneous visits in Abu Dhabi last week.
Rumours emanating from Spain say that the Catalan club and Man City have agreed to a cut-price deal for Robinho, believed to be in the vicinity of £22million, but it remains to be seen what will eventuate.
