Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain has revealed that the influence of former teammate Ruud van Nistelrooy in his success this season.
Higuain, who was just 19 when he signed for Real Madrid, believes some of the credit for his goalscoring prowess must go to Van Nistelrooy and his words of wisdom.
Higuain revealed that Nistelrooy told him that goals are like ketchup and sometimes as much as you try, they don’t come out, and then they come all of a sudden.
