Reports are out claiming that Inter Milan are monitoring Robin van Persie’s situation at Manchester United.
It emerged yesterday that United were willing to pay the Dutch striker £5 million to end their contract this summer.
Inter coach Roberto Mancini is keen to land the Dutchman, having been frustrated in his pursuit three years ago when in charge of Manchester City.
Van Persie’s wage demands could prove a stumbling block, but United’s pay-off would soften the blow should the striker choose Inter as his next destination.
Juventus are also watching the 31 year-old’s situation.
