Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has intimated that he expects to lose Jose Mourinho in the summer.
While chief executive Ernesto Paolillo declared confidence that Mourinho would see out his contract last night, Moratti was hinting at doubts.
“Mou? I think we’ll look at things after the Champions League final,” said Moratti after their defeat of Chievo Verona.
Should they lose the Special One, who is favourite to take charge of Real Madrid, it is said that Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez would be high on their shortlist of replacements. England coach Fabio Capello and Barcelona’s Pep Guardiola are also on Moratti’s radar.
