Interesting news are out and it has been reported that European champions Inter Milan and Spanish giants Real Madrid are holding crunch transfer talks today.
Corriere dello Sport says Inter are aware Real coach Jose Mourinho wants striker Diego Milito and expect to field an approach today.
Inter however are not seeking cash, having raked in over €100 million from last season’s Treble, and instead will ask for one from Karim Benzema or Gonzalo Higuain in a swap for Milito.
Real are also offering €25 million for Douglas Maicon, but Inter are insisting on €35 million for the Brazil fullback.
Meanwhile, Inter coach Rafa Benitez is interested in unhappy Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo.
Benitez sees Melo as an alternative to his No1 midfield target Javier Mascherano, of Liverpool.
