Interesting news are out and it has been reported that FIFA has officially announced that Mexican striker Javier Hernandez is the fastest player at the 2010 World Cup, with a top speed of 19.97 mph.
The speed of the new Manchester United striker compares with Usain Bolt’s average speed of 23mph when running 100 metres in 9.58 seconds.
A few other players official speeds have also been released by FIFA including Germany’s Mesut Ozil (18mph) and the England pair of Gareth Barry (12 mph) and Matthew Upson (2mph).
