It has beeen reported that Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez has paid tribute to his former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Speaking with Gazzetta dello Sport, Hernandez praised Ferguson, who signed him from Guadalajara in 2010, as the best manager he’s ever worked with.
He said: “He is the best manager of all time, and he certainly had the biggest impact on my career.
“He opened the door to Europe for me, and he allowed me to play in one of the most competitive leagues in the world for one of the best clubs in the world. No one will repeat his success.”
