Javier Mascherano has blasted his Liverpool team-mates saying that it is the players who should take the blame for their torrid run of form.
Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has come under massive criticism both from the fans and the Board after the Reds lost their last four matches.
However, Argentinian international midfielder Mascherano insists it is not Benitez’s fault and said that the players must take the responsibility and will have to work harder on the pitch.
The combative midfielder also said that the tactics of the manager is working but the problem is that the players are not playing as best as they can.
Liverpool will clash with champions Manchester United on Sunday and the midfielder said that Liverpool must to try to win the match and then continue winning.
