Jo Completes Loan Move To Everton

The news have been confirmed and Everton FC have signed Brazilian striker Jo on another season-long loan from Manchester City.

Jo now aged 22, spent five months on loan from Eastlands at Goodison Park last term and impressed manager David Moyes.

Now, after a week of discussions, the former CSKA Moscow player, who was signed by Manchester City for an estimated £18million last summer has agreed to spend the next 12 months with the FA Cup finalists.

It is believed that Everton are now hoping to complete the final paperwork for Jo to play on Friday in the club’s first pre-season friendly of the summer at Bury.

Jo found the net five times in 12 appearances for Everton last season, but his future at City was thrown into doubt by the arrival of Roque Santa Cruz from Blackburn.

The loan deal was initially agreed last weekend and the player travelled to Scotland with Everton for a training camp this week.

Another good news for Everton is that their two other summer signings, midfielder Anton Peterlin and defender Skhodran Mustafi, both received international clearance to play against Bury.
