Manchester City winger Adam Johnson is convinced Sir Alex Ferguson regrets allowing Carlos Tevez to leave Manchester United.
Johnson aims to help City take a step to a top-four finish tomorrow while delivering what could be a fatal blow to United’s title hopes.
He said: “If you asked Carlos, he’d take all his goals away to score the winner on Saturday. Any team will regret selling a player of his quality given the number of goals he’s scored. He’s got even stronger since he came here. He’s tried harder to prove a point and he’s definitely done that.
“The 4-3 defeat is burning inside a few people. I wasn’t involved but the lads who were there will definitely want to put one over on United after that match.”
