Reports are out claiming that Hamburg defender Joris Mathijsen is a target for big-spending Malaga.
The La Liga side have already swooped for his former teammate Ruud van Nistelrooy and now wants Mathijsen to join him in Spain.
The 31 year old Dutch international is determined for a change of scenery and Hamburg will not place obstacles to impede his departure, provided the bid in question meets their expectations.
Like Van Nistelrooy, Dutch agent Rodger Linse also represents Mathijsen, which should smooth negotiations with Malaga.
