Newly appointed Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has paid tribute to his former Inter Milan players.
Mourinho left Inter Milan last season having completed a historic treble.
Mourinho said : “It was a fantastic group,”
“Also on a human level, but it wasn’t the strongest and for this reason we had to work double.
“There were players who had several titles behind them, but some of them had never even reached the Champions League quarter-finals.
“I am in Madrid because I like challenges. I have always liked pressure and for me the challenge of Real Madrid is one that satisfies this need.”
