Juninho joins Qatar League champions Al Gharafa for €2.5m

Latest transfer news are out and it has been reported that former Brazilian international midfielder Juninho has joined Qatar League champions Al Gharafa after eight successful season with French club Lyon.

It has been reported that the 34-year-old signed a two-year contract worth €2.5m with the Qatari club on Wednesday, making Al Gharafa his fourth club after stints with Recife and Vasco da Gama in his native Brazil before he moved to France in 2001.

Juninho is one of the most feared free-kick takers in modern soccer, and has represented Brazil 40 times and played at the 2006 World Cup.
