The agent of Juventus striker David Trezeguet admits a move to MLS could be on this year.
Trezeguet is inside the final 18 months of his existing contract and agent Antonio Caliendo can see Juve selling him if they fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Asked about Trezeguet’s options, Caliendo told reporters that : “The player is always a wanted man in the United States and also at Villarreal.”
Several MLS clubs, including New York Red Bull, have gone public this preseason about signing a designated player.
