Salomon Kalou is not expecting an easy ride when Chelsea face Portsmouth on Saturday, reports The Sun.
Relegated Pompey can stop Carlo Ancelotti’s men doing the Double by pulling off an upset in the FA Cup final.
The Ivory Coast ace said: “We have seen it before when a small team has made it difficult for the big team.
“We have to think about that and we have to be ready for every situation. We must be prepared.”
Former Chelsea boss Avram Grant will be keen to end his spell in charge at Pompey by getting one over his old employers.
The 24 year old admits the Israeli will be determined to shatter Chelsea’s dreams of winning both the FA Cup and the Premier League for the first time in the club’s history.
He added: “It will be good to see Avram again. We had a good time with him here but now he’s our opponent and we are ready to play the game.
“He will know the side but we will try our hardest to win the Double because it will make Chelsea history and we will be part of that history.
“Portsmouth will probably go 4-3-3 as well because that is what he has played most of the time and they have the players for that system.
“But we are not focusing on what Portsmouth will be doing, we have to focus on ourselves.
“That’s what we have been doing all season and now we have to finish the game well because it has been a very good season.”
