Bad news for all Ghana fans as influential midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has been declared as a doubt for Ghana’s World Cup quarter-finals clash with South American side Uruguay.
The 23-year old German-born midfielder who scored the opening goal for Ghana pulled up with a hamstring injury late in the extra-time win over the USA on Saturday.
It is now said that Boateng will now undergo extensive treatment in a bid to have him fit for the clash with the quarter finals clash in Johannesburg on Friday.
Ghana boss Milovan Rajevac admitted Boateng carried an injury into the game and said it would be difficult to get him up for the next match.
“Boateng was injured against Germany already. It is going to be a huge problem to get him ready for the next game,” Rajevac said.
