Liverpool and Arsenal has been busy in the transfer market and now it appears that both clubs has targeted Udinese midfielder Gokhan Inler.
Local newspapers have reported that Anfield boss Rafa Benitez has targeted the midfielder as a potential replacement if he loses either Real Madrid target Xabi Alonso or Javier Mascherano, who is wanted by Barcelona.
It is also reported that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who has long been an admirer of the 25-year-old, wants him at the Emirates.
It is believed that Udinese rates Inler around the region of £15m, but will accept a compromise deal with the player keen to quit the modest Serie A club.
Inler said that these clubs play very good football in England.
Inler is a Swiss international midfielder of Turkish descent. On 2 September 2006, he made his international debut in a friendly against Venezuela in Basel
