English Premier League giants Liverpool FC are said to be monitoring the progress of Sampdoria youngster Vladimir Koman.
The 20-year old Hungarian midfielder is currently on loan with Serie A rivals Bari and is under contract at Sampdoria until 2012 but has attracted interest from clubs around Europe.
It is believed that the £4million-rated Koman’s performances at the U20 World Cup were impressive enough to have Liverpool enquire about him and more is expected to happen in the January transfer window.
Koman has also spent time on loan with Avellino since joining Sampdoria in 2006.
