Reports are out claiming that Liverpool are launching a bid for FC Cologne goalkeeper Timo Horn.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has identified a weakness in Liverpool’s goalkeeping stocks and made it a priority in January to land a new shot-stopper.
Liverpool are interested in Barcelona keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen. However, Horn represents better value for money.
BILD reported that Klopp is a big fan of Horn and is keen to bring him to England.
For their part, Cologne vice-president Harald Schumacher has stated they would be prepared to sell Horn for the right price.
Timo Horn is also wanted by Arsenal.
