Liverpool are hoping star striker Fernando Torres will return to action against Blackburn this weekend.
The Spain international striker has been struggling with a groin problem in recent times and has missed the last three Liverpool matches.
However Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez says that things are looking good for the striker to return for the Ewood Park clash which will mark skipper Steven Gerrard’s 500th appearance for the club.
Benitez also revealed that the feedback about Torres was very positive and that the player is feeling good.
Benitez also said the he will assess Torres in the next training sessions, but believes that everything will go well.
The manager then said that Torres will have to keep training with the fitness coach and can be involved in normal training sessions if he feels better.
