Sensational news are out and it has been reported that Real Madrid legend Luis Figo has blasted Cristiano Ronaldo over his attitude after Portugal’s defeat to Spain.
Figo, who also captained Portugal during his playing career, was unimpressed by Ronaldo’s reaction as team leader to his country’s World Cup elimination.
When asked for an explanation, Ronaldo snapped: “Ask (coach Carlos) Queiroz.”
This infuriated Figo, who blasted the former Manchester United star said : “My notion of what a captain is may be different from other people, but a captain, regardless of success or failure always has to defend the team.
“In hard times he should stand up for the team.”
