Reports have emerged claiming that Luis Suarez has declared his full commitment to Barcelona.
The former Liverpool striker has been linked with a return to England amid reports of Barca struggling financially.
“I suffered a lot to get here, to play for the team I always wanted to play for and now, even for triple of quadruple the money, I wouldn’t leave. I want to be here, my family is happy and we know the city really well. It’s impossible that I would leave Barça in the coming years. I can’t guarantee that I will retire here, but if I go it will be in a long time,” he insisted.
On Real Madrid, Suarez was cautious about getting carried away by Barça’s six point lead. “This is Madrid and they always pick themselves up.
“Now they’re in a moment they didn’t expect, but last year we had that, too, and we ended up winning the treble.”
