Chelsea winger Florent Malouda has urged his France teammates to stick together and be a cohesive unit during the World Cup otherwise it could end in tears.
Malouda spoke of the individuality within the Les Bleus squad and said that if players stuck to what they wanted to do solely, then things may prove difficult in South Africa.
“We have to create links between players, we can’t just think, ‘I’m not interested in what others do’,” he said.
“We are going to look ridiculous if, as we did at Euro 2008, each player stays in his comfort zone only for good marks from the media to the detriment of the team.”
