It has been revealed that Manchester City and Atletico Madrid have agreed a fee of just over £4million (€4.7m) for Martin Demichelis.
The Argentine international defender only joined Atletico from Malaga this summer but could be sold to City who currently have a shortage in defence following injuries to skipper Vincent Kompany and Matija Nastasic.
It is said that the 32 year old has yet to agree personal terms with the Premier League giants but Atletico were quick to agree an upfront fee of £3.5m (€4.1m) with add-ons of £500,000 (€580,000).
