It has been reported that Manchester City have opened talks with Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
Sky Sports Italia has revealed that City representatives flew to Turin on Monday to begin negotiations with the France international regarding a potential summer move.
Reports over the weekend suggested that City were prepared to offer the 22-year old around £250,000-a-week which would make him the club’s highest paid player in history.
However, City won’t get it all their way as European heavyweights Barcelona, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also showing considerable interest.
Pogba’s former club Manchester United are also keen but it is highly unlikely they would pay more than a €100million for a player they lost for nothing just three years ago.
