Reports are out claiming that Manchester City are moving for Valenciennes defender Dayot Upamecano.
The youngster has been linked with Manchester United and was expected to move to Old Trafford at the end of the season.
However, Foot Mercato says City have come forward and opened talks with VA for Upamecano.
It’s suggested negotiations are already at an advanced stage for the 17 year-old stopper.
Along with United, Arsenal have also been in contact with VA for Upamecano this season.
