Reports are out claiming that Manchester City are interested in Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte.
The Daily Star Sunday says City rivals Manchester United attempted to buy Laporte in the January transfer window but couldn’t come to an agreement with his club Athletic Bilbao.
It is understood that Arsenal and Chelsea also want the 20-year-old.
But now, according to reports, City have signalled their intent to try and sign the centre-back this summer.
Laporte has a £30m buy-out clause in his contract which Bilbao seem unwilling to budge on.
