Reports are out claiming that Manchester United are reportedly in pole position to sign Saul Niguez from Atletico Madrid.
Spanish publication Don Balon suggests that the Red Devils have been given permission to sign the talented 21-year-old midfielder for £23million this summer.
Spain U21 international Saul has also attracted plenty of interest from Arsenal but it is believed that United are favourites to lure him away from the Vicente Calderon, even though he is contracted with Atleti until 2020.
It is understood that United see Saul as a long-term replacement for veteran Michael Carrick whose contract expires this summer.
