According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has reportedly blocked a loan move for youngster Andreas Pereira.
The report claims that van Gaal doesn’t want to repeat his mistakes from the first half of the season when he let the likes of Adnan Januzaj, Tyler Blackett and James Wilson leave on loan spells.
The Dutchman was criticised by club fans for his decision to let these players leave on temporary deals and hence has now blocked any possible loan for Pereira.
The 20-year-old midfielder has made seven appearances for the Red Devils this season and was believed to be keen to gain regular game time elsewhere for the remainder of the campaign.
