It has been reported that Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is believed to be keeping close tabs on Sporting CP star William Carvalho.
Portuguese football expert Jan Hagen posted on Twitter that the Red Devils boss, according to A Bola, has asked for weekly reports on the 23-year old Portugal international.
United scouts watched Carvalho, who is also being linked with Liverpool, against Ferreira on Saturday and it is suggested the Old Trafford outfit will keep a close eye on him for the remainder of the campaign.
