It has been reported that Ryan Giggs has plans to become Manchester United manager but he admits it may not be a long tenure.
The Red Devils legend is currently assistant to Louis van Gaal, and although he is looking to succeed to the Dutchman, acknowledges that the management caper is a very tough one to prevail in.
“Long term the stats are there,” said Giggs.
“It’s not particularly about my position – the stats are there. Managers don’t last very long in jobs.
“What is it 18 months, two years on average?
“It’s a fact – in 20 years’ time you won’t be in the same job as you are now.”
