It has been reported that Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal hopes to have Daley Blind back for the Christmas programme.
The Dutchman revealed his compatriot could return from an ankle injury towards the end of this month.
“It’s not so heavy as I have already said,” van Gaal reported.
As for a possible return date, the manager suggested: “Not next week, I don’t know… Christmas maybe – maybe Christmas. At the end of December maybe we see light at the end of the tunnel.”
