It has been revealed that Victor Valdes is set to continue his career in Spain.
Goal.com is linking the Manchester United goalkeeper with a winter move to La Liga club Espanyol.
Valdes has been at Old Trafford since October 2014, when he was training to overcome a knee injury, before signing a contract in January this year but has made just two appearances for the Red Devils.
This season, the 33-year-old former Barcelona star has been completely frozen out by Louis van Gaal but is expected to get a move away from United as he is now in advanced negotiations with Espanyol who sit 13th in Spain’s top flight.
