Interesting transfer news are out claiming that Manchester United have joined Arsenal’s interest in Maribor defender Petar Stojanovic.
Ekipa 24 reported that Arsenal had scouts posted to watch Stojanovic in action against Chelsea in the Champions League last week – and were joined by United representatives.
United scouts delivered manager Louis van Gaal a glowing report on the 19 year-old.
Stojanovic recently won his first cap with Slovenia and is comfortable at left-back.
Along with Arsenal and United, Southampton are also weighing up moving for the youngster ahead of the January transfer window.
