Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will make a decision over Dimitar Berbatov’s future tomorrow.
The Mirror says Berbatov’s United future is on the line – with Ferguson deciding his fate at a massive end-of-season summit tomorrow.
Fergie and his senior staff get together for their annual review of who stays and who goes at Old Trafford – and it will be the most important for many years as the Reds hit a crisis point.
And the Bulgarian striker may end up being sacrificed and sold in the window as Ferguson looks for ways of lifting his squad and bringing in new faces.
Those new faces being mentioned are Karim Benzema, David Silva and Manuel Neuer .
Ferguson tried for Benzema, 22, this season but lost out when the striker chose arch European rivals Real Madrid who snatched him for around £35m.
Although Benzema has scored eight goals this campaign his face does not seem to fit at the Bernabeu and United could get him for a ‘cut-price’ £25m.
Valencia winger David Silva is also being offered a big-money move to Manchester United.
The Sun says United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to dip into his £100 million transfer kitty to win the race for the Spain international.
Struggling Valencia could do with the £35 million he will generate.
and last but not least Schalke 04 goalkeeper Manuel Neuer could also be on his way to Old Trafford as Sir Alex effectively begins rebuilding his side after what is seemingly been a bad season at Man Utd.
