It has been reported that Manchester United goalkeeper Joel Castro Pereira is returning to Rochdale.
The 19-year-old initially moved to Spotdale for a month, and was named man-of-the-match against Morecambe in the only game he has played for the club.
Despite his game time being limited, Pereira has done enough to earn a longer spell at the League One club.
Rochdale confirmed: “Man Utd keeper Joel Castro Pereira returns to Spotland for a second stint on loan signing until 3rd Jan 16.”
