It has been reported that Manchester United fullback Luke Shaw will have a second bout of surgery following his initial procedure on Tuesday night.
The England international left-back suffered a double leg fracture in his side’s Champions League loss to PSV Eindhoven and was operated on by two orthopaedic surgeons and a trauma specialist at the St Anna Ziekenhuis hospital on the night.
It is believed that 20-year-old Shaw will undergo a second operation on Friday before hopefully returning to the UK on the weekend.
Shaw is expected to be sidelined for at least six months but more will be known after the follow-up procedure.
