It appears that Manchester City has lost patience with Barcelona striker Samuel Eto’o and now the club wants an answer from the Barcelona this weekend.
Local newspapers have reported that Manchester City thought they had a deal in place when the Spanish giants accepted a £25million offer for the Cameroon striker.
It is believed that Eto’o has agreed wages of £200,000 a week (after tax) but knows that Barcelona are keen to cash in now with just one season left on his contract.
So it is believed that the player is now holding out for half the fee Barcelona will receive, arguing that they could lose him for nothing as a free agent next year.
Now City have decided enough is enough and want a definite answer from the FC Barcelona in 48 hours.
Manchester City will be heading to South Africa for their pre-season tour late next week and would like to have striker Eto’o in the team by then.
