Cash rich Manchester City’s owners are ready to pay what it takes to land Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery.
Local British newspapers have reported that Manchester City hold the British record with the £32.5million they paid Real Madrid for Brazilian international winger Robinho.
However it is said that it could take up to £65m to get French international winger Ribery from Bayern Munich and Manchester City are ready to go for it even though Bayern Munich are desperate to keep their star player.
If this bid becomes successful the move would take City’s spending under Mark Hughes to £315m in 20 months.
Unsettled Ribery has criticised Bayern coach Louis van Gaal saying that there is no feeling between the both of them.
