Good news for all soccer fans as English Premier League giants Manchester United are ready to tour the United States and is set for their opening 2010 pre-season tour match which will take place at Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Friday night.
The Red Devils will first take on Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic in the first of five matches which will take in Canada, the USA and Mexico.
Following the Celtic clash which kicks off at 7pm ET, Sir Alex Ferguson’s men will meet MLS expansion franchise Philadelphia Union, foundation club Kansas City Wizards, the MLS All-Stars and Mexican outfit Chivas Guadalajara.
United have been in Chicago since earlier this week and held a training session at Toyota Park as well as an interactive fan event at the Niketown store.
They left for Toronto on Thursday and following their stay there will move onto Philadelphia, Kansas City, Houston and Guadalajara.
