Reports from Sky Sport Italia claims that Manchester United have offered €12m (£10.2m) to Roma for Italian international Daniele De Rossi.
The Italian international was thought to have been made available for transfer by the Giallorossi this summer, but that may no longer be the case.
After a summer in which the Italians have sold Marquinhos, Pablo Daniel Osvaldo and Erik Lamela, they are unlikely to let go of De Rossi with the transfer deadline now just days away.
De Rossi too, according to Sky, doesn’t seem tempted by the idea of a move to Old Trafford.
