Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to welcome Serb superkid Adem Ljajic to the club in January.
Ljajic, now age 18, is heading for the Premier League in January and only if Manchester United can get him a work permit.
United paid £12m for him along with fellow Partizan Belgrade star Zoran Tosic.
Ljajic was allowed to stay in Belgrade but now Sir Alex Ferguson wants to bring one of Europe’s hottest young stars to England.
Ferguson told reporters that “Given all the talk about him and the fact he plays for Serbia’s Under 21s even though he’s only 18, we hope we will be granted the permit.”
