It has been reported that Manchester United are set to break a new financial record this year.
United are on course to become the first club to make more than £500m in a year.
United’s total revenue for the three months to the end of this September was £123.6m, an increase of 39% on the same period in 2014.
The increase shows the value of United’s return to the Champions League and their new kit deal with Adidas.
Commercial revenue was up 25% to £71.2m while broadcast revenue was up 64% to £27.6 m.
United’s executive vice chairman Ed Woodward said: “Our record first quarter revenues demonstrate the continued strength of our businesses.”
