It has been reported that Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer still wants revenge on Chelsea.
It has been revealed that the Champions League title holders are preparing to face last season’s Europa League winners in the UEFA Super Cup in Prague on Friday night.
The German international goalkeeper has made it clear that avenging the 2012 Champions League penalties defeat is at the top of Bayern’s agenda.
“It’s a unique chance for us players to win this trophy,” Neuer told Uefa.com.
“It’s a final and a match against the Europa League winners, and that’s Chelsea. We still have something to clear with them, and take revenge, so hopefully we can win in Prague.”
He added: “Last season we were very motivated, we wanted to finally achieve a lot of success and managed to win the treble, but we could have never lost the final against Dortmund.”
