Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda has declared that he would love the chance to play in the Premier League and has welcomed reports of interest from Manchester United.
The Congolese-born France international has been touted as a possible long-term replacement for United’s Edwin van der Sar and admitted he would love the opportunity to make his home at Old Trafford.
Mandanda told reporters that : “Naturally I should be staying in Marseille next season but you never know,”
He added that : “I’ve not had any contact with any club but all know my dream is to play in the Premier League.
“I’ve heard Manchester United are looking for a goalkeeper. My name isn’t on their list, but you never know.”
