Barcelona ace Lionel Messi has insisted that he will never match Argentine legend Diego Maradona.
Many are declaring Messi now in the class of his Argentina coach after a superb season.
However Messi told reporters that : “While millions of years pass, I will not be even close to Maradona. And I do not want to consider this. He is the greatest of all time,”
He then said that : “I am not like Maradona, I have my own story and will achieve things doing my own thing.”
Messi was also asked about his poor form with Argentina, he added: “I’m asked many times about this. For me, it’s totally different playing for Barcelona than with the Selecao.
“It doesn’t means that the Selecao does not have good players, they are the best in the world.
“But we do not have time to work, everything is very quick: two days and then a game.”
