Reports are out claiming that Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil insists if the Gunners win the Premier League this season, he won’t be the only reason behind their success.
The German international playmaker has been in impressive form for the North London club this season, providing a league-high 11 assists and scoring one goal.
When asked if his form could make the difference in the title race come season’s end, Ozil told Sport 1: “Not because of Mesut Ozil, but WITH Mesut Ozil.
“We’ve twice won the FA Cup, and won the Charity Shield this summer too. We definitely want to improve that.
“Should we continue like that, and become just a tiny bit more consistent, it can work out. But the others don’t sleep.”
